Why Laptop Local?
I can’t be the only one who wants to find good beer and bread, made by people who love what they do, delivered right to your door, right?!
Everyone is going through a challenging time at the moment and I’m loving how all these businesses are pivoting and changing to be able to stay afloat, pay their team, make a lively-hood and serve their local communities.
I’ve been actively searching for local businesses to support but it’s not always easy to find them, especially if you’re looking for certain items. The more time I spent looking and sharing with others, the more it made sense to bring them together so everyone could have access and highlight their own favourite spots.
Through the power of your laptop (or mobile, obviously) you have the power to find and support your local providers.
Plus, local depends on your point of view, and with the internet most places can become local. You may find some favourite local providers from wider afield!
But, what if someone else learns of this awesome place I know?
I get it. Sometimes we want to keep awesome things we find to ourselves to make sure they don’t run out or get too busy they can’t fit us in. But, what if they don’t have enough orders to keep going? Then you’ll never get to have their yummy goodness again (and someone may have just lost their living).

What about all those places who use companies like UberEats and Deliveroo?
There are loads of options out there for ‘traditional’ deliveries and I’m not excluding those. This is more for small businesses who don’t fit into that category or simply can’t afford the additional money being on those apps costs.

Nope. All businesses are shown on here free of charge. There is no cost to be on these pages.
Some of these places don't look too 'local'?
On the hunt for local providers I found a lot of small businesses who traditionally provide to restaurants who are also trying to find ways to keep afloat. As they’re normally set up for more ‘wholesale’ their sites might look a bit less ‘local’, but are still local and working to serve.
Others have quickly found ways to deliver from their local spot to across the country. For many of these they are delviering personally to their local area, but there was only so much information we could include on here!
